"The Ride" will leave from Cook's Corner @ 3:15pm sharp. We will travel south on El Toro Rd. to Laguna Canyon Road. Through Laguna Canyon to Pacific Coast Highway heading north to Long Beach. There will be a regathering stop at Joe's Crab Shack in the Alamitos Bay Marina, L.B. around 5:00pm. This will be the only restroom and refreshment opportunity. We will depart from Joe's Crab Shack  @ 5:40 sharp and head west on 2nd Street through Belmont Shore. Turn north on Bennett. Bike parking will be in the closed street on Bennett between Broadway and 3rd. Final destination, 257 Bennett Ave L.B. 90803

No Bike? No Problem! If you don't ride and would like to attend the Remembrance Ceremony you are welcome to do so, it is open to the public. Parking can be a challenge on September 11th due to the large attendance. I recommend you allow some extra time to park for the 6:00pm sharp, start time.

The history of this great country is is immersed in stories of heroism and sacrifice. It is the strong, the noble and courageous, who put themselves in harms way for a counrtyman or a cause greater than themselves. Nearly 3000 innocent people died on September 11th, most of whom were running instictively to save themselves. Meanwhile 343 of FDNY's Bravest ran into harms way and answered what would be their last call for help. These brave Americans must be recognized for their sacrifice and chivalry. It is our patriotic duty. Something I do with respect and honor.
